In a world where everyone's data is owned by a select few companies, blockchain seemed a way out to me. And so, almost a year ago, with the dawn of the new year 2022, I resolved to not just start learning blockchain but also get really deep into it. Since then, some online paid courses and a lot of free documentation and videos have taught me a lot about it and now I feel confident in writing safe and gas-optimized smart contracts for just about anything in Solidity. I plan to expand my knowledge base to other blockchains as well in 2023: Solana and Algorand in particular. And hopefully, by the end of the next year, I might be proficient in Rust or PyTeal or even both!
